Motor failure: The stator winding of the motor is the part that generates a rotating magnetic field, which is affected by the intrusion of moist vapor and will affect the normal operation of the motor. In the long-term operation of the motor, overload, overvoltage, undervoltage, and breakage will also cause the stator winding to malfunction. The faults of the stator winding are various, and the faults of the fan motor operating abnormally due to moisture are now analyzed and dealt with.

1) The terminals and windings are damp. The fan motor used for a long time, due to moisture in the moisture, reduces the insulation resistance value, and even loses the insulation effect.

2) Insulation aging. The long-term overload operation of the motor leads to the thermal aging of the insulation of the winding and the lead, which reduces or loses the insulation strength and causes electrical breakdown, resulting in the winding being grounded. The phenomenon of insulation aging is that the insulation is black, yellow, and crisp.

3) Long-term use of the bearing for a long time, excessive wear, causing friction between the stator and the rotor, causing damage to the surface of the iron core, which in turn causes a short circuit between the silicon steel sheets, an increase in the iron loss of the motor, the outer ring or ball of the bearing rupture; high temperature generated by high-speed operation Balls and steel rings turn blue due to lack of oil lubrication; foreign objects enter the bearings, causing the motor temperature to rise too high.

The maintenance and repair methods of the fault of the tower motor:

1) If the insulation is damp, the winding resistance will be reduced after heating and drying; if the insulation resistance is still very low, it is found that the stator and the stator core are short-circuited after testing. charged. Careful inspection is required to separate the stator and stator core short-circuits and insulate them separately.

2) Insulation aging. Replace the insulated aging windings, add insulating paint to the winding joints as required to prevent shorting between the windings; then carry out the no-load experiment for 8 hours, measure the interphase resistance and observe the operation of the motor. If there is no abnormal change in resistance, the motor runs smoothly and the temperature rise is normal, and the insulation replacement is completed.

3) Bearing failure. Install a special small puller on the motor, bite the rear end of the top screw of the puller with pipe wrench, and turn the top screw evenly to remove the original bearing of the motor. Remove burrs with a thin file and other tools, apply insulating paint, and heat and dry. After cleaning, put on the new bearing greased and maintained, lubricate the soft copper rod, and evenly tap it into place with a hammer. Rotate the rotor of the motor to run smoothly and smoothly without noise. Then install the motor end cover and motor bearing cover, and install the motor pulley and transmission belt.
